Harrisons & Crosfield Organic Earl Grey Tea is one of the worlds classic and most famous flavoured black tea. The recipe for this delightful blend was presented by the Chinese to the second Earl Grey in the 1880s. Our Earl Grey is light and smooth with the delicate flavour and fragrance of pure Italian Bergamot, a pear shaped citrus fruit. USDA certified, our organic teas are certified in both England, where they are subject to the stricter European organic regulations and in the U.S.
To fully appreciate the subtleties of this fine leaf tea, it's worth taking the time to make it properly.
• Bring freshly drawn cold water to a boil.
• Warm your teapot with hot water and discard.
• Use one teaspoon of tea per 6 oz of water.
• Pour boiling water over tea and infuse for 3 to 5 minutes. Remove tea leaves.
• Serve without milk. Sweeten to taste.
