How to Brew a Proper Cup of Tea

Use one teaspoon of tea or one tea bag per 6 oz. of water.

Bring freshly drawn cold water to a boil.

For black tea and herbal tisanes – pour immediately over tea and steep for 3-5 minutes
-
For green and white tea – let water stand for 1 minute, pour over tea and steep for 2-4 minutes.

Black teas may be enjoyed alone or with milk or lemon. Green, whites herbals and flavored black teas should be served alone. All teas may be sweetened to taste.
