Harrisons & Crosfield Darjeeling Single Estate Tea is often referred to as the "Champagne of Teas" because of its fine quality, Darjeeling tea leaves are grown in the foothills of the Himalayas. The unique combination of cool misty climate, high altitude and rich soil produces excellent quality tea. Our Single Estate Darjeeling is the finest Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe 1 (TGFOP1) quality whole leaf tea available. This tea brews light coloured liquor with a subtle muscatel 'grape-like' flavour.
To fully appreciate the subtleties of this fine l;eaf tea, it's important to take the time to brew it properly.
• Bring freshly drawn cold water to a boil.
• Warm your teapot with hot water and discard.
• Use one teaspoon of tea per 6 oz of water.
• Pour boiling water over tea and infuse for 3 to 5 minutes. Remove tea leaves.
• Best served without milk. Sweeten to taste.
• Kosher all year and for Passover
