Harrisons & Crosfield Single Estate Assam Tea is a premium Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe 1 (TGFOP1) quality whole leaf black tea from the Doomur Dullung Estate in northeast India, where the lush tea gardens line the banks of the Brahmaputra River. It has a distinctive, rich malty flavour that makes it a particularly satisfying breakfast tea.
To fully appreciate the subtleties of this fine leaf tea, it's worth taking the time to brew it properly.
• Bring freshly drawn cold water to a boil.
• Warm your teapot with hot water and discard.
• Use one teaspoon of tea per 6 oz of water.
• Pour boiling water over tea and infuse for 3 to 5 minutes. Remove tea leaves.
• Serve with milk or lemon. Sweeten to taste.
